 Chris is a recent transplant to the DFW area, originally hailing from Oklahoma. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas where he received a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies and performed and recorded with the UNT Zebras, UNT Latin Jazz Ensemble, and the 2 o’clock lab band. During his undergraduate career Chris took advantage of many opportunities to travel and play abroad freelancing and teaching in South Korea, Austria, and the Czech Republic. He has also traveled abroad working for Carnival cruise lines as a lead and solo trumpet player performing with artists such as Denny Brunk, Richard Homefield, Tia Thompson, and Victor Zuniga. One of the newest members of Inside Out, Chris is very excited to be a part of this top notch, professional group as well as the IO family. |
