Maegan is a native Texan, born in Houston and raised in Dallas and Plano.  She attended Louisiana State University on a full academic and opera scholarship.  She then transferred to University of Texas Dallas to continue her education in business. During that time she opened local concerts for Lori Morgan, Brenda Lee, and The Spinners. She then joined Ice House as their lead female vocalist and went on to sing with Professor D in the same capacity until she was ready to start her own band.

In November of 1999, Maegan formed InsideOut.  She considers herself truly fortunate to have been able to assemble and work with the incredibly talented group of musicians that comprise the heart and soul of her organization.  The band has grown into one of the most popular party/club bands in the Metroplex, covering tunes from the 50's to the current Top Forty hits and specializing in weddings, corporate functions and special events.
