Kira Pierce (Lead Vocals)

Kira Pierce was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her early years, she participated in many choirs and pop groups, winning numerous awards for her vocal talents including outstanding soloist in regional competitions and being recognized as a top 10 performer in state competitions. After graduating from J.J. Pearce High School in 2000, Kira attended The University of Texas at Austin. True to her heart, even while attending the prestigious University, Kira continued to pursue and to develop her musical talents. She participated in show choirs and pop groups, such as the University of Texas Longhorn Singers. In 2004, Kira graduated as an honor student with a degree in Corporate Communications.
 
Kira has trained with vocal coaches Brian Schexnayder, William Riley, and Ken Slaughter, whose students include Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and LeAnn Rimes, among others.   Kira has also performed as a soloist in multiple venues in and around Austin and Dallas, Texas, including the prestigious Johnny High Country Music Revue, Main Street Music Hall, and many corporate events. She has developed her solo performances and creative talents by writing lyrics and collaborating with Chris Godbey and Jerome Harmon, an award-winning producer, both of Bronze and Brainz. In 2005, Kira brought her talents to the stage in the pre-Broadway production of “Quanah Parker,” a musical created and directed by Larry Gatlin.
 
As a strong advocate for children and the arts, Kira is proud to have performed and taken part in various philanthropic events. She headlined at the 2006 Pepsi Kid Around in Addison benefiting the Family Place, an agency devoted to helping families escape from domestic violence by assisting victims and their families.  Recently, she recorded the theme song for “Love for Children,” a local based charity serving sick children and their families in the Dallas area.  She also performed for the “Haute Art 2005” festival hosted by the ArtCentre of Plano and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, an organization that promotes the discovery and development of the musical talent of outstanding young musicians.
 
Kira Pierce’s powerful vocal ability and mature sound enables her to mesmerize her audience with a variety of genres.  Kira is a breath of fresh air, bringing a twist of R&B and jazz to mainstream Pop music. Kira’s music touches the heart and soul of every listener and leaves the audience wanting more and more.
